Baskonia has secured the services of one of French basketball’s rising talents. The club announced the signing of Clément Frisch, a 22-year-old power forward, on a deal that runs through the 2027–28 season.

Frisch arrives in Vitoria-Gasteiz after a standout season with SLUC Nancy in the French LNB, where he was named the league’s Most Improved Player.

Known for his versatility, shooting touch, and high basketball IQ, the Strasbourg youth product averaged 11.7 points, five rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game while shooting an impressive 43.2% from beyond the arc. His all-around play earned him a valuation of 14.5 per game.

The move to Baskonia marks a major step forward in Frisch’s career, as he prepares to compete at the highest level of European basketball. The upcoming season will be his first in both the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the Spanish ACB League.

Frisch has been a regular presence in France’s youth national teams and is widely regarded as part of the next wave of talent emerging from the country’s deep basketball pipeline. At 2.02 meters tall, he brings a modern skill set to the power forward position — capable of spacing the floor, creating for teammates, and defending multiple positions.

His arrival adds depth and long-term potential to a Baskonia squad looking to re-establish itself among Europe’s elite. With his contract running through 2028, Frisch is expected to be a key piece in the club’s future plans.
