LDLC ASVEL has officially announced the signing of American power forward Zac Seljaas for the upcoming 2025-26 season. Standing at 2.00 meters and 27 years old, Seljaas arrives from Würzburg, where he impressed with his physicality, scoring, and versatility.
The player was near a deal with Virtus Bologna however he will make his EuroLeague debut with the French club.
Seljaas played a key role in Würzburg’s deep run to the Bundesliga semi-finals, where they narrowly fell to ratiopharm Ulm. Over the entire season, he averaged 14.0 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, showcasing his ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor.
In addition to his domestic league success, Seljaas made a notable mark in the Basketball Champions League. Across ten games, he posted an impressive 17.7 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest, establishing himself as one of the competition’s top performers.
A product of BYU Cougars, Seljaas has also gathered valuable international experience in Slovakia, Georgia, and Tubingen before making his breakthrough in Germany. His move to LDLC ASVEL will mark his first foray into the French league and the EuroLeague, where he is expected to contribute significantly to the team’s ambitions.
