After topping the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague in May and the ING Turkiye Kupasi in February, Fenerbahce Beko also celebrated the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi championship on Wednesday.

“I’m very proud. 2025 is our year,” said head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius, “Maybe one day, looking back at this season, we will be able to fully understand what we have achieved.”

“We do this job to bring such success to our teams, as players or coaches. There is no financial reward for this. I also know how much Fenerbahce fans enjoy these wins,” he described capturing the domestic league title, “I am very happy we were able to win this championship.”

Coming out of the season-ending Game 5 against Besiktas Fibabanka, Fener honored departing Marko Guduric and Maurizio Gherardini for their contributions. The 30-year-old Serbian guard is heading to EA7 Emporio Armani Milan and the 69-year-old Italian general manager is taking over as the new president of his home country’s LBA UnipolSai.

“I thank you from the bottom of my heart,” mentioned Gherardini, addressing the crowd in Ulker Sports Arena, “I thank this incredible club and the fans. Always Fenerbahce.”

“We had an incredible season. We made history. I am proud. I thank you for all your support,” said Guduric, adding to emotional moments, “Always, everywhere, the greatest Fener.”

“Marko has done a fantastic job,” Saras praised the team captain after the championship-clinching win, “He deserved a farewell like this for everything great he has done for Fenerbahce.”
