Jeremy Morgan and Joel Ayayi will debut in the EuroLeague with Paris.
Following the recent additions of Amath M’Baye and Allan Dokossi to the 2025-26 squad, the team based in the French capital welcomed the 30-year-old winger and the 25-year-old shooting guard on Thursday. With most of the 2024-25 team on expiring contracts, including several official departures, Paris is rebuilding after debuting in the EuroLeague with a playoff run and capturing the Betclic Elite championship, merely seven years after the club was founded.
Building his way up to Europe’s premier club continental competition, Morgan was featured in five Basketball Champions League games in a championship run with Telekom Baskets Bonn and also played in 56 BKT EuroCup games, including 19 with Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem in the previous edition of Euroleague Basketball’s second-tier league, averaging 6.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.2 blocks per contest.
Ayayi, a native of Bordeaux, played in seven NBA games with the Washington Wizards during the 2021-22 Regular Season, after completing an NCAA career with Gonzaga. Following more action in North America via the G League, he returned to France to play for Nanterre 92 during the 2023-24 season and JL Bourg in the 2024-25 season. With La Jeu, he logged 17 EuroCup appearances, tallying 7.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.6 steals, and 0.2 blocks per contest.
Heading to the next season, under the guidance of the new head coach, Francesco Tabellini, the recently-crowned Betclic Elite champions will be looking for the next step at the continental level as well.
