After signing a 1+1 deal last August, Jordan Nwora left Anadolu Efes after one season to become a free agent. The option on his contract was not used, leading to the separation on Thursday.

Following 219 games played in the NBA, including a championship run with the Milwaukee Bucks in his first season, Nwora decided to expand his career overseas. Moving his talents to Efes, he introduced himself to the EuroLeague, tallying 7.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.2 blocks per contest over 37 appearances, including 15 starts. At the domestic level, he registered 29 more appearances with 14.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 0.9 steals per contest in the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi.

Focusing his efforts in the NBA for four years, since coming out of Louisville and being selected with the 45th overall pick of the 2020 draft by the Bucks, the explosive forward spent two complete seasons in Milwaukee, was traded to the Indiana Pacers midway through the 2022-23 campaign, and to the Toronto Raptors at a similar stage of the 2023-24 Regular Season. The 2020-21 and 2021-22 expeditions additionally featured G League action with the Salt Lake City Stars and Wisconsin Herd.

Playing for Nigeria at the international level, the New York native made the final squad for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and the FIBA World Cup 2019, in addition to being capped in the Qualifiers of the World Cup 2019 as well.
