Real Madrid announced that head coach Chus Mateo is leaving the team.

Real Madrid C.F. and Chus Mateo have agreed to end his tenure as Real Madrid basketball coach.
Real Madrid thanks Chus Mateo for his work and commitment during the three seasons he has led our team, during which he has won six titles: one European Cup, two Liga titles, one Copa del Rey, and two Spanish Super Cups. He was also chosen as the Euroleague Coach of the Year for 2023-2024.
Chus Mateo has always exemplarily represented the values of our club. Real Madrid wishes him and his family all the best in this new stage of his life.
