Vitto Brown is officially a free agent after being released from his contract with AS Monaco.
The next destination for the 29-year-old combo forward is expected to be Besiktas Gain in the BKT EuroCup. He was in advanced talks with the team based in Istanbul, as reported by Eurohoops in late June.
La Roca Team announced his departure on Monday.
During the 2024-25 campaign, the former Wisconsin standout introduced himself to the EuroLeague. Slowed down by various injuries, his efforts went into 23 appearances, including 11 starts, with 4.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, 0.7 assists, 0.4 steals, and 0.2 blocks per game. At the domestic level, he averaged 7.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 0.7 assists, 0.3 blocks, and 0.2 steals per contest over 20 appearances in the Betclic Elite.
Over the two previous years, the versatile forward powered up Pinar Karsiyaka. His first stop in the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi combined with 23 appearances in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 installments of the Basketball Champions League. Earlier experience in Europe extends to Coosur Real Betis in the 2021-22 edition of Spain’s Liga Endesa and his first year in France with Le Mans in the 2020-21 season.
After completing his NCAA run with the Badgers, playing alongside Nigel Hayes-Davis for four years, and missing the cut for the NBA draft, the Oklahoma native launched a professional career in the G League, suiting up for Wisconsin Herd, Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario, Maine Red Claws, and Erie BayHawks between 2017 and 2020.
