Fenerbahce Beko has officially extended its partnership with forward Tarik Biberovic, signing the 24-year-old to a three-year contract that will keep him in Istanbul through the 2027–28 season.

Despite receiving an offer from the Memphis Grizzlies, who hold his NBA rights after selecting him 56th overall in the 2023 NBA Draft, Biberovic chose to remain in Europe and continue his growth with the reigning EuroLeague champions, as Eurohoops previously reported.

A member of the Fenerbahce organization since 2018, Biberovic played a key role in the club’s 2024–25 EuroLeague title run, averaging 10.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists across 37 games. He also contributed strongly in the Turkish league, helping the team capture another domestic championship.

Born in Zenica, Biberovic represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at the youth level before committing to Turkey’s national team at the senior level, where he appeared in the EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers.

By staying in Istanbul, Biberovic continues to be a key piece in Fenerbahce’s long-term plans, both in the EuroLeague and on the domestic front.
