Gordon Herbert’s team said goodbye to Nick Weiler-Babb, who was coming off an extraordinary season, especially on the defensive end, being named Defensive Player of the Year.
Winning once again the German championship, the all-around American-German guard put up 8.2 points, 4.9 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game in the 2024-25 EuroLeague campaign.
Nick Weiler-Babb wasn’t the only player departing from Bayern Munich today, as Carsen Edwards officially signed with Virtus Bologna.
“Carsen and Nick played a major role in our successful season. Because of their contributions, they will always hold a special place in our club,” Dragan Tarlac said.
“We wish both of them much success on their future paths and are sure we’ll see them again soon,” Bayern’s sporting director added.
