After four years in gold, between Aris and AEK, Omiros Netzipoglou will wear red-and-white.

The 2002-born Greek talent officially agreed to a four-year deal with Olympiacos, which secured the 2022 Best Young Player of the Greek Basket League

Over the past two years, he has played with AEK, winning the bronze medal in the 2024-25 Basketball Champions League.

Last year, his numbers were slightly better in the Greek Basket League, where he put up 6.9 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game.

In the Basketball Champions League, instead, he had 5.1 points and 1.2 rebounds per game, but spent four minutes less on the court on average.

Omiros Netzipoglou has debuted with the Greek national team on the road to FIBA EuroBasket 2025, and it’s unclear at the moment if he will be part of Olympiacos’ roster or will be sent on loan.
