Olympiacos contacted Zalgiris Kaunas asking to negotiate the acquisition of Sylvain Francisco, but was shut down, according to Eurohoops sources.
Despite the good relationship between the two clubs — and several past player moves between them — this case was considered “impossible” by Zalgiris.
Francisco is seen as a cornerstone of their team after a strong season in which he led the team in both scoring and assists.
He averaged 12,6 points and 3,9 assists in 25:29 minutes per game in EuroLeague.
