Anadolu Efes added to summer signings by announcing a two-year deal with Isaia Cordinier on Friday.
The 28-year-old French guard/forward was previously formally released by Virtus Segafredo Bologna. Eurohoops reported on advanced talks with the Istanbul-based club and recent negotiations with other teams.
Officially set on his next EuroLeague challenge with the team coached by Igor Kokoskov, Cordinier carries the experience of 84 appearances with Vu Nere, including 12.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.3 blocks per contest over 34 games in the 2024-25 installment. Domestically, he averaged 9.5 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.7 rebounds per contest.
His stint with the team based in Bologna was wrapped up with an LBA UnipolSai championship, after previously producing a 7DAYS EuroCup championship run in the 2021-22 journey and two domestic Supercups.
Back in the 2020-21 campaign, his last with Nanterre 92, he was named to the All-EuroCup First Team. Other former teams in France are the Antibes Sharks, Denain Voltaire, and ALM Evreux.
In the 2016 NBA draft, he was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the 44th overall pick, but has not displayed his talents in the league based in North America.
Beyond the club level, the Creteil native has been a regular for France, with achievements highlighted by a silver medal in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. He also made the final squad of the FIBA World Cup 2023, besides suiting up in the Qualifiers of the World Cup and in those of the 2022 and 2025 editions of the EuroBasket.
