BC Dubai continued to reinforce their team in order to be competitive in the debut season in the EuroLeague, and the latest arrival will strengthen the club’s frontcourt.
Joining the newcomers on a two-year deal, Mfiondu Kabengele will also debut in the EuroLeague.
Last year’s All-EuroCup First Team member, who put up monster numbers in the competition with Reyer Venice, switched teams to join Jurica Golemac’s side.
In the 2024-25 EuroCup season with Neven Spahija’s team, Mfiondu Kabengele averaged 15.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per game, while ranking 2nd in PIR per game (23.2).
Prior to his move to Italy, he joined overseas basketball with AEK, spending some months in the Basketball Champions League and in the Greek Basket League.
Kabengele is only the latest of a series of signings for BC Dubai ahead of the EuroLeague campaign, joining Dzanan Musa, Justin Anderson, Dwayne Bacon, Mam Jaiteh, Aleksa Avramovic, Kenan Kamenjas, and McKinley Wright IV.
