Rogkavopoulos leaves Baskonia, joins Panathinaikos on four-year deal

Nikos Rogkavopoulos will to continue his career at Panathinaikos after parting ways with Baskonia.

The Greek forward officially returns to his home country on a four-year contract worth one million euros per season, following an agreement between the two clubs.

The 23-year-old spent one year with Turkish side Merkezefendi before joining Baskonia last summer. In his first EuroLeague campaign, he averaged 9.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1 assist across 33 games, shooting 43.5% from beyond the arc in just under 20 minutes per contest.

In ACB action, Rogkavopoulos played 32 games with averages of 8.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game, while converting 57.3% of his two-point attempts and 34.5% of his threes.

He becomes the latest addition to Panathinaikos’ roster as they continue shaping their squad for the upcoming season.
