Vlatko Čančar parts ways with Olimpia Milano

EA7 Emporio Armani Milan has officially announced that it has mutually agreed to terminate the contract of Slovenian forward Vlatko Čančar.

The 28-year-old joined the Italian powerhouse during the off-season but appeared in only two EuroLeague games this season, in Rounds 1 and 2, before being sidelined by a knee problem.

Olimpia Milano and Vlatko Čančar have mutually agreed to terminate his current contract,” the club’s statement read. “Olimpia wishes to thank Čančar for his exemplary behavior, professionalism, and commitment during these weeks spent together, hoping to see him back on the court as soon as possible, fully recovered.

Čančar joined Olimpia Milano after six years in the NBA with the Denver Nuggets, where he won an NBA Championship in 2023.

He logged just 15 minutes of playing time in the EuroLeague with the Italian team, without scoring a point.
