Dinos Mitoglou has signed a new contract with Panathinaikos, lasting a total of three years, following an agreement reached between the two sides.
The 29-year-old international forward/center of the “Greens” was under contract until the end of the current season, that is, until the summer of 2026. With this extension, he will now remain with the team until the summer of 2029.
The two sides have agreed to continue their cooperation, with a significant increase in the player’s financial earnings. After the signatures were finalized, Panathinaikos released an official announcement stating: “Panathinaikos B.C. announces the extension of its collaboration with Konstantinos Mitoglou until the summer of 2029.”
So far this season, Mitoglou has played in all 7 of Panathinaikos’ EuroLeague games, averaging 5.1 points (75% free throws, 52.9% two-pointers, 25% three-pointers), 3.1 rebounds (1.9 defensive – 1.3 offensive), and a 7.3 PIR in 13 minutes and 21 seconds per game.
In addition, in 4 games in the Stoiximan GBL this year, he is averaging 14.5 points (78.6% free throws, 76% two-pointers, 37.5% three-pointers), 7 rebounds (4.3 defensive – 2.8 offensive), 1.3 assists, 1.3 steals, and 19.8 efficiency in 19.5 minutes per game.
