Hapoel Tel Aviv defeats Partizan to stay at the top

It might be its first season in the Euroleague.

But Hapoel Tel Aviv is proving that it belongs to the highest level.

The Israeli team defeated Partizan 97-84 to jump to a 6-1 record and stay alone at the top of the Euroleague standings.

Partizan falls to 3-4 and has yet to find its rhythm this season.

Collin Malcom had his best game of the season, finishing the game with 17 points and 27 PIR. Antonio Blakeney also had some good scoring minutes, finishing with 13 points, while Dan Oturu had 14 points.

Duane Washington (15 points), Sterling Brown (19), and Tyrique Jones (14) were the only players from the away team in double digits when it comes to scoring. Bruno Fernando played his first minutes with his new team,

After a very close first half (43-42), it was all about Hapoel Tel Aviv after the break.

The home team dominated both ends of the floor, and the lead got as big as sixteen thanks to a 85-69, the moment the game was over.

For almost the whole fourth quarter, the game had no intensity, and the only question was what the final score would be.
