Nando de Colo is projected to miss three weeks of action due to a right hamstring injury, as reported by French outlet Le Progres.
On Thursday, the 38-year-old combo guard was limited to just under 12 minutes in Zalgirio Arena with LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne falling to Zalgiris in Round 8 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season. Packing two points, three steals, two assists, and one rebound, he was forced to an early exit midway through the second quarter.
With the French club back in Lyon, the ensuing medical tests revealed the severity of the injury and projected a recovery timeline of three weeks. Therefore, the two-time EuroLeague champion will miss several team outings at the continental and domestic levels. So far in his 13th journey in Europe’s premier club competition, he averaged 12.7 points, 4.0 assists, 1.7 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 0.1 blocks per contest over seven appearances.
Also in the EuroLeague game in Lithuania, Bodian Massa picked up a right ankle injury, making him questionable to play in Saturday’s meeting with Elan Chalon in Astroballe, in Round 6 of France’s Betclic Elite.
Thomas Heurtel (calf), Edwin Jackson (foot), and Shaquille Harrison (hamstring) were already on the injury list for the team coached by Pierric Poupet.
With two wins in eight contests, ASVEL sits 19th in the EuroLeague standings, half a game over Baskonia and the bottom spot. A 4-1 record in Betclic Elite is tied with AS Monaco, Cholet, and Le Mans in first place.
