Hapoel Tel Aviv achieved their seventh EuroLeague win of the season by defeating Dubai away with a score of 109-97 in ninth round.
The standout for Hapoel was Elijah Bryant, who delivered a masterful performance: the former Anadolu Efes player scored 25 points (7/11 from the field), grabbed seven rebounds, and recorded a performance index rating of 36. He was followed by Vasilije Micic with 19 points, Antonio Blakeney and Johnathan Motley with 15, and Dan Oturu with ten points.
For Dubai, Dwayne Bacon was unstoppable with 36 points (11/26 from the field, 13/14 free throws), but even that was not enough. Boogie Ellis also scored in double figures with 16 points, as did Filip Petrusev with 11.
After a mostly even first half, which the home team finished with a narrow lead (48-47), the game was decided in the third quarter. Hapoel played superbly during that stretch, winning the quarter 35-19, and ultimately brought the game to a relatively routine finish.
Hapoel now stands at 7-2, sharing first place with Crvena zvezda. In the next round, the Israelis will host Baskonia, while Dubai, now at 3-6, will face Zvezda.
