Partizan had a 20-point lead slip away in the final quarter, saw Monaco storm ahead, then managed to claw back control in the closing minutes.

Mike James had a chance to win it at the buzzer, but missed — and Partizan escaped with a much-needed 78-76 victory, ending a four-game losing streak.

Dwayne Washington once again led Partizan in scoring with 22 points, while Aleksej Pokusevski delivered by far his best performance of the season, finishing with 17 points and seven rebounds, making him the team’s unsung hero. Sterling Brown and Nick Calathes also scored in double figures, adding 10 points each.

On the other side, Nikola Mirotić topped Monaco with 17 points and eight rebounds, while Alpha Diallo and Mike James contributed 13 points apiece. Nemanja Nedović finished with eight points.
