Partizan will once again be without its big summer signing — but this time for a very different reason.
Jabari Parker will miss the EuroLeague Round 11 game against ASVEL, as he’s traveling to the United States following a family loss, first reported by Nova.
The former No. 2 pick in the NBA Draft was granted permission by the club to return home, as Partizan officially confirmed.
“Partizan forward Jabari Parker has been granted permission by the club to travel to the United States for a funeral following a family tragedy. He will return to Serbia immediately after the service.”
He is therefore expected to rejoin the team in a few days and should be available for next week’s game against Fenerbahçe.
