Maccabi has already lost a lot of ground, and that’s why the win over Baskonia was huge.

Jaylen Hoard had arguably his best game of the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds, but it was TJ Leaf (19 points and 7 rebounds) who led Kattash’s team to victory.
Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot was once again Baskonia’s top scorer, finishing the game with 19 points.
Despite being a very close and tight game, Baskonia only led on the scoreboard once during 40 minutes.
Maccabi held its composure and did not lose its lead, bouncing to a 3-8 record after four consecutive losses. Baskonia is now also at 3-8 after eleven rounds of Euroleague action.
