ASVEL won in the 11th round of EuroLeague at home in Villeurbanne, defeating Partizan with a score of 88-87.
The top scorer for the winning team was Glynn Watson with 18 points and six assists, same as Zac Seljaas. David Lighty contributed 16 points to the victory.
On the other side, Sterling Brown had 20 points, Duane Washington scored 19 and Dylan Osetkowski 16. It’s also worth noting that Tyrique Jones did not play in this match due to injury.
An incredible game was played in France. ASVEL started the match perfectly, leading 16-2 after five minutes, but Partizan gradually came back.
In the end, the Serbian team even managed to take the lead five minutes before the end but failed to close out the game. Glynn Watson took advantage and, with a series of points, brought victory to his team.
The decisive moment was Watson’s three-pointer for 83-79 with less than a minute remaining. Although it was just a one-point difference in the end, there wasn’t much drama as Washington hit a three-pointer for the visitors in the last second.
The French team now has a 3-8 record, and in the next round, they will play Monaco at home. On the other hand, Partizan is at 4-7 and will face Fenerbahce in Belgrade next.
