A major setback for Anadolu Efes. Their star player, Shane Larkin, will be out of action for the next two months after suffering an injury against Bayern Munich. Larkin had to head to the locker room in the first quarter and didn’t play the rest of the Round 11 game.

The Turkish team won that game, with a great Isaia Cordinier setting his season-high (26). Anadolu Efes (4-7) announced the injury of their legendary guard, and he will be sidelined for the next two weeks:

Our captain, Shane Larkin, who suffered a tendon injury in the left groin area during the Bayern Munich match we played yesterday, will be away from the courts for approximately 8 weeks.
Larkin, 33, is averaging 15.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists, shooting 41.9% from beyond the arc. Once again, he is the leader of an Anadolu Efes team with new faces that promise to return to the top of the Euroleague after last season’s great performance.
