They might be newcomers to the 2025-26 Euroleague, but Valencia Basket is ready for everything.
The Spanish side got a statement win against Bayern Munich 90-64 to jump to an 8-5 record.
The German team is now 5-8, despite adding Spencer Dinwiddie to their roster.
As usual, coach Pedro Martinez had a lot of players contributing to the offense: Brancou Badio (16 p.), Nate Reuvers (11 p.), Jean Montero (13 p.), Omari Moore (13 p.), and Darius Thompson (12 p.) finished the game in scoring double digits.
It was a completely different story on the visiting team, as only Dinwiddie (12 p.) finished with ten or more points.
Even though Bayern got a 33-26 lead in the second period, Valencia got a 41-37 lead at halftime, and the game changed after the break.
Valencia Basket dominated the second half, and the lead was +22 already in the third quarter, which ended with the hosts up by 19 (68-49).
Thanks to that amazing start of the second half, the game was basically over by the time the fourth quarter started, allowing the Valencia Basket players to enjoy the win with their fans.
