After a tight first half, Panathinaikos shifted gears in the third quarter and ultimately pulled away for good against Partizan.
Led by Kendrick Nunn, the Greek powerhouse unleashed a stunning 25–0 run spanning the third and early fourth quarters, creating the decisive gap and securing a dominant 91–69 victory at OAKA Arena.
From the middle of the second quarter through the end of the third, Kendrick Nunn was simply unstoppable. The reigning EuroLeague MVP turned the game on its head, finishing with 26 points, seven rebounds, and four assists, committing just one turnover on his way to an impressive PIR of 39.
He had strong support from Kenneth Faried, who posted 12 points and seven rebounds, Nikos Rogkavopoulos with 13 points, and Juancho Hernangómez, who added eight points and a massive 15 rebounds. Kostas Sloukas directed the offense with seven points and 10 assists.
On the Partizan side, Sterling Brown opened the game on fire with 14 points in the first quarter, but managed only two more in the second — finishing as Partizan’s only double-digit scorer with 16 points. Bruno Fernando and Shake Milton added nine points each (with Milton dishing out five assists), Duane Washington scored eight, and Jabari Parker had seven points for Zeljko Obradovic’s team.
