Crvena Zvezda secured a victory on their home court in the 13th round of the EuroLeague, defeating Olympiacos, with a score of 91-80.
The most effective player for the winning team was Jordan Nwora with 23 points, while Semi Ojeleye added 15, and Chima Moneke contributed 11 points and 11 rebounds. However, it can be said that the hero for the Serbian team was Devonte’ Graham, playing his first EuroLeague game.
He finished the game with nine points, but his two three-pointers ignited Zvezda at the beginning of the fourth quarter. In addition, he had four rebounds and as many assists.
On the other side, Sasha Vezenkov delivered a memorable performance, concluding the game in Belgrade with 29 points and eight rebounds. Tyler Dorsey added 16, and Evan Fournier 13.
A fantastic match was played in Belgrade, with both brotherly teams providing a spectacle. It seemed that Olympiacos would take the victory when they held a double-digit lead towards the end of the third quarter.
However, Graham awoke, Butler joined in, and with a series of three-pointers and solid defense, Zvezda turned things around to secure the triumph.
Crvena Zvezda now holds a 9-4 record, sharing the top spot on the table, and will host Barcelona in the next round. On the other hand, Olympiacos has eight wins and five losses and will face Fenerbahce in Piraeus.
