Željko Obradović submitted his resignation to Partizan, but the management of the Belgrade club decided to reject it and attempt to convince the renowned tactician to remain as head coach.

After Friday’s meeting, Obradović had not changed his mind, and the final decision was originally expected during Saturday’s board session.

However, according to reports from Serbia, the meeting has been postponed to next week, as some members were abroad and unable to attend.

As a result, the final decision on whether Obradović will stick to his resignation or reconsider will come at the earliest on Monday.

Meanwhile, Friday’s meeting also resulted in Partizan parting ways with sports director Zoran Savić.
