The recently-appointed head coach of EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, Peppe Poeta, updated the roster situation heading to Round 14 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season.

Besides Diego Flaccadori (chest) joining Lorenzo Brown (calf), Nate Sestina (right arm surgery), and Ousmane Diop (left knee) on the sidelines, Marko Guduric is out as well.

“He won’t play the next two games because we’ve started a recovery program right after the Belgrade game that needs to be completed, but we don’t see him as a problem at all. He’s an incredibly coachable player. His teammates enjoy playing with him. He will be great for us,” said 40-year-old Poeta, referring to Friday’s EuroLeague meeting with Kosner Baskonia in Fernando Buesa Arena and Round 10 of Italy’s LBA UnipolSai Regular Season opposite Dolomiti Energia Trento in Unipol Forum on Sunday.

He was also asked about the necessary rotation adjustments due to Sestina’s injury, including moving Shavon Shields and Leandro Bolmaro to the four position.

“I don’t see any shortcomings,” he stressed. “We have Zach LeDay and Pippo Ricci at the 4 spot. If needed, as we did against Olympiacos. I can use Shields or Bolmaro in that position and play some small ball. Ricci is having a stellar season, and I intend to ride the momentum he has. He’s kind of the soul of the team.”

Behind a 7-6 record, Milan is tied with Real Madrid at the bottom end of the EuroLeague’s Play-In Showdown zone. At the domestic level, a 5-4 tally is tied for sixth in the LBA standings.
