Evan Fournier is dealing with an illness, and he is considered doubtful to play for Olympiacos against Fenerbahce in the Peace and Friendship Stadium on Thursday.

“Fournier came down with a fever today and is doubtful,” mentioned head coach Giorgos Bartzokas in a media session ahead of Round 14 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season on Wednesday. “He will not practice.”

At the top of his second EuroLeague campaign, since calling it a day in the NBA and taking his talents to Olympiacos, the 33-year-old French winger put up 8.7 points per contest over ten appearances, including seven starts. In total, he has played 47 games in Europe’s premier club competition, following 723 NBA appearances between 2012 and 2024.

Besides updating the status of Fournier, the 60-year-old Greek play-caller also confirmed Frank Ntilikina as available to return to action after left thigh discomfort, while formally ruling out Shaquielle McKissic (thigh). Keenan Evans (left leg) and Moustapha Fall (left knee) are also on the injury list. On the opposite side, Onuralp Bitim (right ankle) was recently sidelined, with Scottie Wilbekin (right knee) and Jilson Bango (left knee surgery) out as well.

Entering Round 14, the Greek and Turkish clubs are tied with four other teams at 8-5, between fourth and ninth on the EuroLeague table.

At the domestic level, Olympiacos leads the Stoiximan GBL with an 8-0 start in the Regular Season. Fener is 8-1 in the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi, ranking second behind undefeated Besiktas Gain.
