A slight setback for Panathinaikos. Hours before the match against Fenerbahçe, Ergin Ataman confirmed that Kendrick Nunn suffered an injury in the morning’s training session.
“Nunn suffered an injury at the beginning of today’s practice and left the session in the 10th minute. I hope he plays tomorrow (against Fenerbahçe)”, said the coach.
The player twisted his ankle during Monday’s training session, and although it doesn’t appear to be serious, he could be doubtful for the match against Fenerbahçe. The situation will be reassessed on Tuesday morning (12/16).
Even so, Ergin Ataman will have Cedi Osman back for the game, who has missed three consecutive Euroleague matches. Panathinaikos begins a tough week in the Euroleague with an away game against Fenerbahce on Tuesday (12/16, 7:45 PM) for round 16 and will continue with the game at the OAKA against Hapoel Tel Aviv on Thursday (12/18, 9:15 PM) for round 17.
