Good news for Real Madrid: Chuma Okeke reportedly now has a Nigerian passport. Sergio Scariolo’s team has had problems with the nationality of Gaby Deck, Chuma Okeke, and Trey Lyles because they didn’t have passports, so they don’t count as extra for the Spanish competition.

Chuma Okeke is playing his first season in Europe. The former Orlando Magic player is proving to be a key player for the Spanish team. The forward has obtained Nigerian nationality, like his father, a country that is part of the Cotonou Agreement.

Real Madrid will have to register him in the ACB with his new nationality in order to complete the process. According to reports, Gaby Deck will be the next to obtain a new passport to facilitate the arrival of stars to the Real Madrid squad.
