An unusual incident happened at OAKA during halftime, with a Panathinaikos fan sitting courtside pushing Hapoel Tel Aviv’s owner, Ofer Yannay, while he was moving towards the bench of his team.

The usually outspoken Yannay didn’t react; nothing further happened, and the home club took immediate action.

As it was announced after the game, the fan was found, he was stripped of his season ticket and banned for life from OAKA.

According to the Greek club, the perpetrator also cursed Yannay, and as it was noted by the home side, “phenomena of violent and racist behavior have no place on our court.”
