Crvena Zvezda secured a win in Round 17 of the EuroLeague, beating Virtus in front of their home fans 90-89.

The hero of the home team was Jared Butler, who hit a two-pointer 20 seconds before the end. On the other side, Carsen Edwards tried a three-pointer in the final second to bring victory to his team, but it wasn’t accurate, so Zvezda ended their streak of three losses in the EuroLeague.

We witnessed a close game in Belgrade, and it was clear from the start that the decision would come in the final minutes. The lead shifted from one side to the other, and in the end, Butler became the hero for Crvena zvezda.

Codi Miller-McIntyre led the winning team with 21 points and ten assists, Jordan Nwora had 20, while Chima Moneke finished the game with 13 points and seven rebounds.

On the other side, Carsen Edwards scored 29 points, and Luca Vildoza added 16 points along with nine assists.

Crvena zvezda now stands at 10-7, with their next game away at Paris. Virtus is at 8-9, and in Round 18, they will host Olympiacos in Bologna.
