Monaco bounces back with big win over Bayern Munich

Spanoulis didn’t mince words after his team’s loss to Baskonia just two days ago, and AS Monaco answered with an emphatic performance.

The French side defeated Bayern Munich 103–77 at home, handing the German team their seventh consecutive EuroLeague defeat.

Elie Okobo led the winners with 18 points, Nikola Mirotić added 16 with six rebounds, and Mike James scored 14 with six assists. Alpha Diallo contributed 12 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists, while Killian Hayes added 11. Matthew Strazel and Daniel Theis scored 10 points each.

For Bayern Munich, Oscar da Silva scored 13 points, Stefan Jović added 11, and Spencer Dinwiddie finished with 10.

The hosts began pulling away in the second quarter but saved their best for the third, scoring 35 points and building an unassailable 82–55 lead before the final 10 minutes.
