Partizan Belgrade has completed the signing of experienced point guard Cameron Payne, adding a major reinforcement to their roster for the remainder of the season.
According to a report by Telesport, the black-and-whites have reached a full agreement with the American guard, who has a deal with the team until the end of the current campaign. Payne is expected to arrive in Belgrade as early as tomorrow to finalize his integration with the team.
The deal is reportedly worth €950,000 for the rest of the season, underlining Partizan’s strong commitment to strengthening their backcourt.
With his extensive NBA experience and proven quality at the highest level, Payne is widely seen as a significant addition who can immediately raise the team’s competitive ceiling.
Last season, Payne appeared in 86 games for the New York Knicks, including several outings in the NBA Playoffs, gaining valuable experience in high-pressure situations.
