After resuming individual work and entering the final stages of foot surgery rehab, 31-year-old Joel Bolomboy is expected in Belgrade next week.

“We will see his condition to decide when he will be able to join team practices,” said Crvena Zvezda head coach Sasa Obradovic in a media session on Monday, heading to Round 18 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season and a clash with Paris in Accor Arena on Tuesday.

The 31-year-old forward/center has been sidelined since last March.

In addition to Bolomboy, Obradovic revealed that 27-year-old Tyson Carter is also expected to rejoin the Belgrade outfit shortly for further medical evaluation, a few weeks after being treated for a pulmonary embolism.

The injury updates of the 56-year-old play-caller extended to Ognjen Dobric and Jasiel Rivero resuming workouts after back and foot injuries, respectively, noting a sooner return to the daily team schedule for 31-year-old Dobric.

Elsewhere on the sidelines, Uros Plavsic remains out recovering from a recent shoulder injury. Also, Isaiah Canaan is expected to miss the remainder of the 2025-26 schedule after his early-season setback and undergoing left knee surgery in October.

Before the meeting with the team based in the French capital, Zvezda is tied with three other teams at 10-7, in sixth place of the EuroLeague standings, the lowest seed guaranteeing a ticket to the Playoffs 2026.

In the AdmiralBet ABA League Regular Season, a 6-3 W-L tally ranks third in Group G, one game behind Buducnost VOLI and three games away from leader Cedevita Olimpija.
