Following his arrival in Belgrade and setting his sights on the EuroLeague Final yesterday, Cameron Payne formally signed his contract for the remainder of the 2025-26 season to complete his move to Partizan Mozzart Bet.

The Belgrade outfit announced the addition of the 31-year-old combo guard on Tuesday morning.

A veteran of 549 NBA games, including 72 in the Playoffs, he is expanding his career to the EuroLeague. Back in 2015, he was selected with the 14th overall pick of the annual draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder to begin his run in the league based in North America. He also played for the Phoenix Suns, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee Bucks, and Cleveland Cavaliers. At the top of the 2025-26 campaign, he signed with the Indiana Pacers but was waived before the start of the Regular Season.

The veteran guard, a former Murray State standout, meets Partizan at 6-11 in Europe’s premier club continental competition, 3.5 games away from the Play-In Showdown zone and four games from a direct ticket to the Playoffs 2026, with 21 games left in the double-legged round-robin schedule of the Regular Season. In Group A of the AdmiralBet ABA League Regular Season, an 8-1 record ranks second behind undefeated Dubai.

The newcomer is expected to practice with his new teammates later today, joining preparations for Round 18 of the EuroLeague Regular Season and a game versus Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv in Belgrade on Friday, under new head coach Joan Penarroya.
