Bacon explodes for 25 points, Dubai defeats Olimpia Milano

Dubai secured a victory in Round 18 of the EuroLeague, overcoming Olimpia Milano at home in a dramatic finish with a 99-92 score.

Dwayne Bacon shone brightly for Jurica Golemac’s squad, which was again without Dzanan Musa, Aleksa Avramovic, and Nate Mason.

The American finished the game with 25 points (8/18 from the field) and eight rebounds, while McKinley Wright IV continued his stellar play—positioning him as a leading candidate for EuroLeague player of the Month—with 19 points and nine assists. Serbian player Filip Petrusev contributed with 13 points and seven rebounds.

For Milano, Josh Nebo led the team with 15 points, followed by Shavon Shields with 14. Marko Guduric had 13, with seven assists and seven rebounds.

This excellent matchup kicked off Round 18 of the EuroLeague. Dubai started strong, building a double-digit lead after the first quarter (31-20).

Milano gradually clawed back, bringing the game to near parity at the start of the final period (72-71). Wright then ignited, using assists and points to extend the lead again, securing Dubai’s second straight win.

Dubai now stands at 9 wins and 9 losses, set to visit Real Madrid next to close the first half of the EuroLeague season. Milano also holds a 9-9 record and will face Virtus in Bologna in the following round.
