Monaco achieved a victory in the 18th round of the EuroLeague by defeating Real Madrid at home, 100-95.

Ellie Okobo led Vasilis Spanoulis’ team to triumph with 22 points, Mike James added 15 with five assists, while Nemanja Nedovic and Matthew Strazel had 12 each.

On the other side, Facundo Campazzo scored 28 points with ten assists, finishing the game with an index rating of 41. In Real’s team, which played without Trey Lyles, Walter Tavares was also excellent with 21 points and 11 rebounds.

As expected, we witnessed an excellent duel in Monaco, which was decided in the very end. Real came back from a deficit, tied it at 75-75, but then a 12-0 run by the home team broke the game. Real tried to make a comeback, with Campazzo hitting four threes in the final two minutes, but Spanoulis’ team secured the victory.

Monaco is now at an 11-7 record and will play against Barcelona in the next round. On the other side, Real stands at 10-8 and will conclude the first part of the EuroLeague season at home against Dubai.
