Hapoel Tel Aviv and Paris will not start 2026 with a double week.
As it was officially announced, the game between the two teams in Tel Aviv was moved to March, because Paris will have to travel from Istanbul, where they face Efes on Wednesday, 7/1, to Israel, and due to the conflict in Gazza there are no direct flights.
The EuroLeague byrules have direct flights in double-round weeks as a prerequisite, and the rescheduled game was unavoidable.
According to the press release: The EuroLeague Regular Season Round 21 match between Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv and Paris Basketball, originally scheduled for Friday, January 9, 2026, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 3, 2026, due to logistical difficulties affecting Paris Basketball’s travel from Istanbul to Tel Aviv.
