Tyrique Jones is set to leave Partizan Belgrade and continue his career at Olympiacos, with the Greek powerhouse agreeing to pay a buyout to secure the American center’s services.

After a messy situation in Serbia, Jones attracted significant interest across Europe, and Olympiacos ultimately emerged as the club willing to meet Partizan’s financial demands to finalize the move.

Maccabi Tel Aviv were also seriously interested in Jones, but according to Eurohoops sources, the Israeli club never intended to pay a buyout fee to Partizan.

This opened the door for Olympiacos, who moved decisively to complete the transfer and add Jones to their frontcourt rotation.

With Jones’ departure confirmed, Partizan have already identified his replacement.

The Serbian club is set to bring in Tonye Jekiri, who recently parted ways with CSKA Moscow. Jekiri, an experienced EuroLeague center, is expected to provide immediate impact with his defensive presence, rebounding, and familiarity with high-level European competition.
