Paris got the 84-79 win against Anadolu Efes, closing a close game the right way.
Nadir Hifi, with 27 points, was once more the leading scorer of Paris and sealed the deal with a big three, just 39 seconds before the final buzzer, giving Paris a five-point lead (82-77).
Thanks to this result, Paris improved to a 7-13 record, while Efes dropped to 6-14 and still has a mountain to climb if the goal remains the play-in tournament.
Newcomer Saben Lee, with 17 points, was a key player for Efes. Ercan Osmani also scored 15, and Jordan Loyd added 12, while Vincent Poirier, Shane Larkin, and Georgios Papagiannis are still out.
It was a close game from wire to wire. Efes led by two at the end of the first period (21-19), Paris got a one-point lead (40-39) at halftime, and kept it at the end of the third period (65-64).
Entering the last two minutes, Paris had a two-point advantage (79-77), and that proved to be enough with Efes scoring just two points in crunch time.
