A left ankle injury forced Kendrick Nunn to the sidelines with Panathinaikos Aktor heading to Germany and taking on FC Bayern Munich in SAP Garden on Thursday.

After reporting discomfort during practice on Tuesday, the 30-year-old guard underwent an MRI to determine the severity of the setback.

So far in the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season, Nunn is leading his side with 19.4 points, 1.0 steals, 29:53 minutes, and 18.2 Performance Index Rating per game, besides 3.6 assists and 3.0 rebounds per contest over 21 appearances, including 17 starts for the team coached by Ergin Ataman. A veteran of 96 games in Europe’s premier club competition, he was crowned champion in the 2023-24 season and stood out as the Most Valuable Player of the 2024-25 season.

A former Oakland and Illinois standout in the NCAA, he logged 212 NBA games after going undrafted in 2018, suiting up for the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, and Washington Wizards between 2019 and 2023, and before taking his talents to the Greek club.

Konstantinos Mitoglou (right hamstring) and Mathias Lessort (left ankle) are out as well, with Panathinaikos aiming to improve a current 13-8 W-L tally with a seventh win in the 11th away challenge of the ongoing continental journey. The record marks a tie with Real Madrid in sixth place of the standings, the lowest seed guaranteeing a ticket to the Playoffs 2026. Domestically, a 12-1 run ranks second on the Stoiximan GBL Regular Season table, behind undefeated archrival Olympiacos.
