A late head injury and a possible concussion for Nikola Milutinov emerged for Olympiacos during a crucial double-game week of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season.

On the receiving end of an unsportsmanlike foul by Oshae Brissett with 1:35 remaining in the fourth quarter against Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv in the Peace and Friendship Stadium, the 31-year-old center went straight to the locker room for further medical assistance. After nearly mishandling a 25-point advantage, his side was up by ten points at the early exit and in victory formation.

“We do not know if Milutinov will travel,” said head coach Giorgos Bartzokas in the postgame press conference, referring to a trip to Istanbul for Thursday’s Round 24 fixture opposite Anadolu Efes in Turkcell Basketball Development Center.

“Because of the hit, he has probably suffered a concussion,” continued the 65-year-old Greek tactician. “The doctor says he should not travel, but we will see tomorrow.”

Logging 21:05, Milutinov had 13 points and nine rebounds on Tuesday. Overall in his 12th EuroLeague journey, he is averaging 11.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.8 blocks, and 0.8 steals per contest over 21 appearances, all starts.

Keenan Evans (leg), Moustapha Fall (knee), and Monte Morris (knee) were already on the injury report of the Reds. In addition, Giannoulis Larentzakis and Omiros Netzipoglou were healthy scratches at the top of the two-game week.

Capturing a third consecutive win and eighth over 11 showings in SEF this season, Olympiacos jumped to 14-8, pressuring the top-six zone and the seeds leading directly to the Playoffs 2026, and remaining two games away from leader Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv.
