Defending EuroLeague champions Fenerbahce hosted Anadolu Efes in another Istanbul derby and cruised past their city rivals in Round 25.

Sarunas Jasikevicius’ side recorded a commanding 79-62 victory over struggling Pablo Laso’s team, handing them their ninth consecutive defeat in Europe’s top competition.

Talen Horton-Tucker led the way for Fenerbahce with 22 points and a PIR of 27, while Nando De Colo added 12 and Tarik Biberovic 10 points.

Devon Hall, Scottie Wilbekin, Chris Silva, Melih Mahmutoglu and Arturs Zagars were all unavailable for the winning side, while Brandon Boston did not log any minutes.

On the other side, only Saben Lee performed at the level needed to match the defending EuroLeague champions, finishing with 19 points. He was the only Anadolu Efes player to score in double figures.

Vincent Poirier returned for Laso’s side, contributing four points and four rebounds, while Jordan Loyd, Shane Larkin, and long-term absentee Georgios Papaiannis remained sidelined.
