Euroleague Basketball has announced disciplinary sanctions related to incidents that took place during Round 26 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague regular season and Round 17 of the BKT EuroCup regular season.

Olympiacos head coach Georgios Bartzokas was fined €4,000 for his conduct during the Round 26 game between Dubai Basketball and Olympiacos Piraeus. The sanction was issued under Article 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.

The decision comes in the aftermath of an incident at the Dubai arena, where the Greek coach was subjected to verbal abuse from the stands following the game. Bartzokas briefly addressed the situation directly before further intervention prevented the episode from escalating.

In a separate case, Aris Thessaloniki Betsson was also fined €4,000 after its supporters threw objects onto the court during the EuroCup Round 17 matchup against Neptunas Klaipeda. The sanction falls under Article 29.2.g) of the disciplinary code.
