Efes found its rhythm, Virtus fell easily in Istanbul

Anadolu Efes secured a victory in the first match of Round 28 of the EuroLeague, defeating Virtus Bologna 91-60 in front of their home fans.

Cole Swider led the winners with 22 points, Saben Lee added 18, while Ercan Osmani had 13 and seven rebounds. PJ Dozier and Sehmus Hazer also reached double figures with 10 points each. For Virtus, Matt Morgan and Alen Smailagic each scored 12 points.

Following two wins in the double round the previous week, Efes continued their strong EuroLeague form under coach Pablo Laso, winning all four quarters with the key separation in the third. The home team built a 14-2 run in that period, pulling away to a large lead they comfortably maintained until the end.

Anadolu Efes now stands at 9-19 and will visit Crvena Zvezda next. Virtus Bologna is 12-16 and hosts Barcelona in their following game.
