Olympiacos secured a victory in Round 28 of the EuroLeague, defeating Crvena Zvezda 92-86 on their home court.

Sasha Vezenkov was the top scorer with 23 points and eight rebounds, Evan Fournier added 18, one more than Tyler Dorsey. For the visitors, Jordan Nwora led with 21 points, Jared Butler had 15, and Codi Miller-McIntyre contributed 11 points with eight assists.

A very strange match was played in Piraeus, where Georgios Bartzokas’ team held a double-digit lead for most of the game. However, by the end of the first half, the visitors had closed the gap, entering the second half with only a four-point deficit (49-45).

Several times, the home team was close to pulling away and settling the game, but Zvezda kept coming back. In the end, the Serbian team had a few chances to push the match into a full-blown drama, but Sasa Obradovic’s players missed a significant number of crucial shots and lost some possessions in key moments. As a result, Olympiacos maintained their lead and ultimately secured the victory.

Olympiacos now stands at 18-9 and will visit Zalgiris next. Crvena Zvezda is 16-12 and hosts Anadolu Efes in their upcoming game
