FC Barcelona has announced that its Round 31 EuroLeague matchup against Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv will be played behind closed doors at the Palau Blaugrana on March 13.

The club confirmed that the decision was made following an assessment related to the game’s designation as a high-risk fixture. After reviewing the relevant security considerations, Barcelona informed the Mossos d’Esquadra of its intention to stage the game without spectators, with the aim of ensuring the safety of all parties involved.

Barcelona also outlined the measures it will take regarding ticket holders. Season ticket holders for the 2025–2026 basketball campaign will receive a proportional refund for the affected game. The amount may alternatively be deducted from the cost of renewing next season’s season ticket. Supporters who purchased individual tickets will be fully reimbursed for their purchase.

The EuroLeague fixture will proceed as scheduled, albeit in an empty arena.
